Occupational Therapy - Occupational Therapy is goal-oriented therapy. It is structured to in-crease patient independence in those who have experienced a loss of ability caused by aging, illness, or injury. Our occupational therapists assist those in recovery from stroke, arthritis, hip fractures, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease and other conditions. Therapists provide skills for individuals to work toward returning to daily tasks of living with minimum discomfort and maxi-mum productivity. Occupational Therapists are unique in their ability to creatively adapt the environment to meet the individual’s needs.
Speech & Language Pathology - Speech-Language Pathologists are professionally trained to diagnose and treat communicative disorders. The therapists look at each aspect of communication to help the individual reach his or her maximum potential. Our Speech-Language Pathologists provide evaluations and treatment for a variety of communication disorders including: Aphasia, Decreased Cognitive Functioning, Dysphasia and Voice.
